• Is my trip affected?

  No. All bookings, itineraries, guides, lodging, and dates remain unchanged.

• Are Andrea and Julie still involved?

  Yes. Andrea Mulla and Julie Head remain actively involved, mentoring the team and supporting operations through the transition and beyond.

• Are the guides staying?

  Yes. Our guides are the heartbeat of these trips. You will continue to see the same trusted faces on the trail, leading journeys with care, humor, and deep local knowledge.

• Is the style of travel changing?

  No. We continue to focus on quiet excellence, personal service, and inn-to-inn and hut-to-hut walking journeys designed with balance and care.

• Why is the name changing?

  Another travel company in the UK has long operated under the same name. While we were able to coexist for many years, brand confusion became increasingly common. After thoughtful conversations, we reached an agreement giving them full use of the name, yet allowing us to move forward with clarity and confidence.

• Is this the same company as Distant Journeys?

  Yes—FieldHouse Adventures is the next chapter of Distant Journeys. We’re continuing the same trips, relationships, and approach to travel, just under a new name and leadership.

• How do I contact you?

Starting 12/31, we will be communicating from these places, and we want to ensure you can find us. Our phone numbers remain the same. This transition exists to preserve the work we do, not to reinvent it.
